"akahai" translates to "kindness expressed with tenderness" in the hawaiian culture. I aspire to be gentle. I aspire to be kind. I aspire to be caring. I want to uplift others. I want to help others maintain their love for themselves and notice their beauty. I want to be delicate, compassionate, and tender hearted. taking things slowly one day at a time, and as they are, is what grounds us. Ever since a young age, i’ve personally struggled with acne and scarring. All the other kids my age were rarely seen experiencing the same problems that I was. I had gone to the dermatologist for years, and used all the topical creams, pills, and ineffective skincare products I was prescribed. This journey was very defeating and it affected my confidence immensely. It did also shape my passion for skincare, leading me to deepen my knowledge and pursue a career in the industry. I embrace an accepting attitude towards skin health and skin care, focusing on self-love and understanding what works for our unique needs. My brand, Akahai, is inspired by the Hawaiian value that translates to ‘kindness expressed with tenderness,’ and I strive to lead with love, kindness, and tenderness in all I do. I aspire to be gentle, kind, and caring—uplifting others and helping them maintain their love for themselves while recognizing their unique beauty. I want to be delicate, compassionate, and tender-hearted, taking things slowly, one day at a time, and as they are. My mission is to help others feel serenity and calmness during their time with me, empowering them to feel confident and capable in their own skin. When I’m not in the treatment room, you can find me performing Hula and Tahitian dance, cuddled up with my Kindle, or enjoying the beach—always with sunscreen and water!

Cancellation Policy

To respect both your time and mine, please cancel or reschedule within a reasonable timeframe. Appointments canceled or requested to reschedule within 24 hours (including same-day) or arrivals more than 10 minutes late will be canceled and charged 50% of the service rate (non-refundable). No-call/no-shows are charged 100% of the service cost. After two no-shows, future bookings may be declined. Declined fees require a new card on file and payment within 24 hours. By booking, you agree to these terms.
